Michelle Harris is currently the Mayor of Clayton, MO, after serving as an alderwoman and on a number of city commissions for 11 years. She is the current President of the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis, Metro Mayors, and a regional advisory board member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition-MO. Michelle has served on several not for profit boards, and was a founding board member of both the Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis and the Clayton Community Foundation, and is an honorary docent at the St. Louis Art Museum. The first 20 years of her career were spent at Nestle and DuPont companies, and as a business consultant. She has an MBA from Missouri University and is married with 2 grown children.

Thomas C. Mummert served as a St. Louis Municipal Judge from 1982 until May of 1984 when
he was appointed a Missouri Circuit Court Judge by the Missouri Governor. He was elected
Presiding Judge of the St. Louis Circuit in 1993 for a two year term. In 1995 Judge Mummert
was Appointed United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri. He was
appointed Chief Magistrate Judge in 2012. Judge Mummert also served as the president of
the Federal Magistrate Judges Association and retired from the Bench in 2016.
While on the Missouri bench Judge Mummert served on the Supreme Court Civil Rules
Committee, Supreme Court Committee on Criminal Instructions and Charges, Supreme Court
Task force on Cameras in the Courtroom, and the Supreme Court Committee on Court
Automation.
While on the federal Bench Judge Mummert served on the Judicial Conference Codes of
Conduct Committee, was the Magistrate Judge representative to the Judicial Conference, and
the Federal Judicial Center Committee on Magistrate Judge Education.
Judge Mummert served as an adjunct professor of law at Washington University for ten years.

After serving in executive positions with several St. Louis non-profit organization, Jill founded The Nowak Consulting Group. Providing consulting services in the areas of finance and investments, organizational alignment and culture, and effective governance, Jill continues to support the non-profit community. She also holds volunteer leadership positions with several organizations focused on supporting the arts, education, and families, including the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis and the Scholarship Foundation of Sr. Louis. Jill is currently a board officer of the Women’s Funding Network, a global foundation working to improve the quality of life and opportunities for women and girls and Grantmaker’s in Health, a philanthropy serving organization with the mission of creating equitable systems leading to improved health outcomes for everyone.
Jill resides in St. Louis County with her husband, David. They enjoy spending time at the cultural institutions that are part of the Zoo Museum District and enjoy showing them off to friends who visit St. Louis.

Brad Bakker is an attorney who currently serves as Vice-President, Senior Litigation Counsel with Rabobank. Brad is a graduate of St. Louis University as a Presidential Scholar and New York University School of Law, where he was named a Robert McKay Scholar. After working as a federal judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge William J. Haynes, Jr. in the Middle District of Tennessee, he continued working in private practice in Nashville until returning to St. Louis in 2014. Brad has also worked on numerous pro bono matters, including filing briefs with the United States Supreme Court and Missouri Supreme Court supporting criminal justice reform. Brad currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Covenant House Missouri, Nurses for Newborns, and Good Shepherd School for Children. He is also the former director of Nashville’s Homeless Experience Legal Protection (H.E.L.P.) program at the Room In The Inn homeless shelter and a graduate of the FOCUS – Leadership St. Louis class of 2022-2023. Brad lives in Clayton with his wife Kate, and they are avid patrons of all of the Zoo Museum District’s Subdistricts.

Christine A. Chadwick was the founding Executive Director of FOCUS St. Louis, the region’s premiere leadership organization. It is a nonprofit organization that develops and connects leaders from diverse backgrounds, and empowers them to work together to build a thriving St. Louis community. She served in this position from 1996-2014.
Prior to joining FOCUS, Chris operated her own company, CALAB Consulting, specializing in Nonprofit Management, Long Range/Strategic Planning, and Workforce Diversity.
She is one of the St. Louis community’s most active volunteers, having served on the boards of 35 nonprofit organizations including terms as president of eight of these boards. Chris currently serves on four local nonprofit boards, and several additional boards in an advisory capacity.
Chris has received numerous honors and awards throughout the years.
Chris was an adjunct faculty member at Webster University for a decade and a graduate of many local and national leadership programs.
A native of Chicago, Chris and her husband David moved to St. Louis in 1977. They have four grown children, two sons and two daughters in-law, and nine grandchildren.

Kenny Powell was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and is a graduate of Ladue High School. He comes from a long line of civil rights activists. His Grandfather, Dr. Jerome Williams Sr., led numerous civil rights protests and his father sang in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s funeral.
Kenny earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas (KU). While attending KU, he was the Captain of the Men’s tennis team and President of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. While competing in the Big 12 for Kansas Tennis, he received the honors of Jayhawk Scholar, First Team All Academic, and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll respectively. In his final year of undergrad, Kenny spent 8 months in Salamanca Spain where he earned his certificate in Advanced Spanish.
Following undergrad, Kenny accepted a Dean’s Scholarship to attend the Saint Louis University School of Law. While at SLU Law, he specialized in negotiations and alternative dispute resolutions. After law school, Kenny was a licensed sports agent representing Major and Minor league baseball clients for 10 years. Kenny is the founder and managing partner of The Powell Law Firm, serious injury attorneys. Kenny lives in Ladue with his wife April and their three daughters. They enjoy visiting all of the subdistricts!

As Principal-in-Charge and CEO, Ms. Hudson provides leadership and oversight for daily operations on behalf of Hudson and Associates, LLC (Hudson) the firm she founded over 17 years ago in St. Louis. Possessing more than 25+ years of program and project management experience in the transportation and infrastructure arenas, Ms. Hudson has been laser focused on building Hudson’s portfolio in parking management, operations support, customer service, planning and airport services. She has successfully opened offices in Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, and Charleston. Ms. Hudson’s management acumen and expertise in transit, highway, planning, and infrastructure was honed from an early age at Randolph Construction, the firm her father owned and operated for 45 years in Nashville, one that she eventually ran as President for 10 years upon his retirement. Previously she gained a wealth of experience from engagements at the Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transportation Authority (MARTA), the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA), and HNTB, respectively.
A servant leader, she is a stalwart supporter and volunteer of various charities and organizations that focus on education, mentoring and second chance programs that benefit citizens in all the markets where she does business. Her ongoing service commitments include the programs of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, State of Missouri Supreme Court Disciplinary Board of Commission, the St. Louis American and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated of which she is a member. She formerly served on the Tower Grove Park Board of Commissions and the Artworks Board of Directors. Ms. Hudson is a proud Tennessee State University alum and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology /Transportation Service and Management and was a Fellow at the Rutgers University National Transportation Institute.
